SHIFTING THE SPOTLIGHT

We at Future x Sounds, recognizing the situation we are all facing, have worked to put together a program that fosters introspection and creativity so that we as a community may survive this pandemic not to return to "business as usual," but a place of realized change.

By Shifting the Spotlight onto their peers, community- builders and activists, our curators have the unique opportunity to create powerful experiences that inspire artists, attendees, and society to shift perspectives and question the world around them.

GET YOUR TOOLKIT

“By curating this series for Future X Sounds, I aim to push forward a framework for an examination of our own methods and mediums of “activism”. Through this series of Radical Dialogues, we gather tools to ensure that in the “Day After” COVID-19 we do not return to business as usual.

Our Future X Sounds toolkit is a free resource designed to be used, shared, and added to, long after this event, built to continue ongoing conversations that implement change and create a reality unlike we've ever seen. What’s in your toolkit?"

Radical Dialogues

Discussions and interactive workshops will cover a wide range of topics such as: Healing Through Art, "The Day After" COVID-19, Mental Health, and Performance Art as Activism. Artists, activists, media, brands, and community-builders will collaborate to create a set of actionable recommendations & petitions for and from the music community and its ecosystem.
